Finding Happiness
Newly Ordained Priest

“Parishioners tell me all the time how much they love having a new, young priest at their parish, and they would like even more to join the Church. When you support the Seminary Appeal, you support the mission to form servant leaders after the Heart of Jesus Christ. Donations given to the seminary are an investment in the Church of Philadelphia. Priests come from St. Charles, and we need more to continue our work.
After seven years of formation at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, I am a happy Catholic priest at St. Robert Bellarmine Parish. St. Charles was one place where I felt completely confident to give my heart to the Church. They prepared me for my priesthood. I had amazing professors who would convey the Catholic faith in a joyful way to me, which I am now able to teach to my parishioners in the pews. We are so blessed to have a seminary right here in Philadelphia. I knew I wanted to study at St. Charles because I wanted to build a relationship with the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.

Growing up, my dad always said to me, “Anthony, if you want to be happy, find out what God wants you to do, and that is the way to happiness.” I have found my happiness in being a priest, and it is all thanks to St. Charles Borromeo Seminary."
